The county council has conducted a second consultation on the amount of funding it provides to support local bus services. Based on the feedback we received during the first bus consultation in 2014 the original proposals were amended to reflect some of the concerns raised as well as adding in a review of the value for money criteria which is used to assess which services we should support and ones which we are unable to. Members of the county council considered the feedback from the consultation and its potential impacts and decided that the proposed changes should go forward. Changes to services will take effect from September 2015, however, representatives from Hertingfordbury and The Greens have been in discussion with officers from the county council and the local bus operator and it has been agreed by Uno to divert the 641 service through Hertingfordbury and The Greens approximately every 2 hours to offer a service.
