Title:	Placement of another crossing on Jarman Way
Petition Overview:	This is a petition to install a crossing at the north end of Jarman Way, Hemel Hempstead, ten to twenty metres off of the roundabout. This road is very busy and heavily used by both traffic and pedestrians every day of the week. There is a leisure centre, extreme sports centre, fast food restaurant and large super market all used by plenty of families. There are two zebra crossings linking the leisure centre to the fast food restaurant to the supermarket. However we feel that there needs to be a third installed at the head of the loop as there are four lanes for pedestrians to cross with only a grass verge in the middle. Having a third zebra crossing installed would improve road safety for crossing pedestrians, reduce the speed of traffic and make the community a safer place.
