Every 4 years there is an election for all 78 county councillors.

Next county council election: Thursday 1 May 2025.

Information about candidates and results

You needed to register by 11 April 2025 to vote in the county council election on 1 May.

However, you can still register to vote in future elections.

You need photo ID to vote at a polling station
