News from South Oxhey day service

The ‘Farming For All’ project was set up to include all sorts of people in a range of outdoor activities. Recently, Graham had the opportunity to work looking after farm animals. Graham said "We were lucky to be working on the farm during lambing season and we were very fortunate to see many lambs being born. One of my favourite jobs was feeding the orphan lambs."

We said that we would like to have a go at sailing. We found an organisation nearby that could help out. The sailing sessions are with volunteers who help us get in and out of the boats. Jimmy, a wheelchair user, said “At 94 years of age, I never thought I would be doing this! My family won’t believe that I have gone sailing!”
