Your options at Step2Skills

There are different ways we can help you to get the skills you need for your career, including:

Essential skills
We can help you get English, numeracy or digital skills needed for work and everyday life. Available Functional Skills qualifications are from Entry Level to Level 2.

Multiply courses
Our selection of free maths workshops can help build your confidence with numbers.

Apprenticeships
Earn a wage while you learn with the Herts Fire & Rescue service. You'll work alongside experienced staff to learn on the job.

A variety of tailored learning opportunities
For Hertfordshire residents to upskill. We charge a small registration fee which varies depending on the length of the course. This fee helps towards room hire costs and the cost of the teacher.

Some of our qualification courses have additional eligibility criteria (which can be found in the course descriptions on our booking pages) but for the majority of our courses, you need to be a Hertfordshire resident and aged 19 or over.

One-to-one support into employment
Through our employment support service. You can learn more about this on our employment support page, check whether you're eligible and apply today.
