The Education, Health and Care (EHC) Portal lets you track the progress of your EHC needs assessment application.

How do I access the portal?

Families who have submitted an application for an EHC needs assessment are invited (via email) to create an account on the portal. 

If you are invited to access the portal, you will be given the login information via email from your Children's Information and Advice Officer (CIAO).

What can you do on the Portal?

  • Receive updates on the progress of your needs assessment
  • Find out who your Children's Information and Advice Officer (CIAO) or your EHC Coordinator is
  • Share and receive documents securely with staff in Hertfordshire County Council
